Learning for all program

He akoranga mō te katoa
"Learning for all"

At Taumata we believe in the power of education to uplift communities. Education creates opportunities but many tamariki face barriers due to lack of technology. In today's digital world, access to online learning isn't optional - it's essential. By providing digital devices, we empower students to engage in learning, develop digital skills, and build brighter futures. This initiative helps bridge the digital divide, giving students access to essential online learning resources.

Investing in our future

HOW IT WORKS
For every placement, we purchase and donate a Chromebook through local schools and community organisations. We work with educators to ensure they reach tamariki who need them most.

OUR IMPACT
This initiative is more than just technology – it’s about unlocking potential. These tools help tamariki succeed academically, improve digital literacy and access future career opportunities.

At Taumata, we’re committed to investing in education and a more equitable future – one placement, one Chromebook, one tamariki at a time. Partner with us and be part of the change.

Our Testimonials

"We would like to express our sincere thanks to Taumata Search and Selection for the generous donation of Chromebooks to Bishop Viard College. This support has made a meaningful and lasting impact on our students and their whānau, many of whom face challenges beyond the classroom. As more learning moves online, reliable access to devices is essential for students to complete work, research, and stay connected. Unfortunately, not all families can provide this, and the digital divide can affect student engagement, progress, and confidence.

Thanks to your support, students who previously shared devices—or had none—can now fully participate in their education. We've seen noticeable improvements in their independence, confidence, and motivation. This donation has also brought relief to families, many of whom were deeply moved. Beyond the practical support, they felt seen and valued, recognising that their children matter and their community cares.

Your generosity aligns with our values of equity, manaakitanga, and service. You’ve helped remove a major barrier to learning and restored a sense of dignity and hope for our students. Thank you again for your belief in our young people and for helping us create a more inclusive learning environment.
